Darwish Engineering Emirates is a leading civil engineering contracting company founded in Dubai in 1952. The company’s mission is to serve the local UAE construction market and provide the best engineering and construction services to both the federal and local government, official authorities and the private sector. Some of the company’s projects since its establishment are Dubai Municipality Building (1958), Dubai International Airport’s first runway and arrival & departure buildings (1962), Al Mushref Palace, Abu Dhabi (1967), Al Bateen Airport Road and Internal Road Sector, Abu Dhabi (1968), Beach Palace and Main Water Tank, Abu Dhabi (1969) and the first carriageway connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi Emirates (1970) followed by the construction of the second Carriageway (1973). In addition, in 1971, the company had the honor of completing the Dar Al Ittihad Building (Union House Building) in Dubai on which the first UAE flag was raised for the first time following the announcement of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates.
Continuing its journey to success, the company’s activities have expanded into all other Emirates and in addition to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, operating branches were established in Sharjah, Ajman and Fujairah.
